What can you expect to learn
I have commitment to let students to improve things below
- Sight-Reading Skill – this means that when you look at music, you can start playing it perfectly right away.
- Music Theory- I teach it from the very begining so that you fill learn music faster. Both Children and Adults
- Ear Training – Listening ability
- Singing – It’s not a vocal lesson, but it helps you imagine pitches in your head.
- Piano Exams (NYSSMA, ASM, RCM and others) – Up to the highest level Grade 8 and 9
- Performance – How to memorize music; this is related to music theory.
I use the Piano Adventures series for completely beginner children because the book teaches music theory from an early stage.
Hitomi is a certified Steinway Piano Teacher.

Hitomi Honda has taught our son since he was 5 years old. Words cannot express how patient, kind and warm she is with him throughout his growing up with piano. Always finding the positive, always allowing our son to express himself in his lessons. He learned how to memorize, how to read music, dynamic expression, focus.
